Live chat software with speech to text voice input
Today IMsupporting launch a small update that enables users of the Google Chrome webbrowser access to the live chat Speech to text feature.
Simply click the small microphone icon to the side of all live chat text inputs and start talking.
Once you have finished talking, your voice should be converted into text that you can send to your users.
Note: This is a Google Chrome only feature and may work on other "webkit" browsers. It may work in the future on browsers like Firefox however we have no information available from these companies.

This live chat feature enables a chat operator to put a client 'on hold' or pause the chat session.
Why use it?
By using the 'Pause chat' feature you can simply click the pause button and a message will appear on both the operator and visitors chat windows explaining that the session is currently on hold.
This enables an operator to clearly define to a user that they are working on an issue for them and to not expect an answer to further query's whilst the operator works on the problem.
Once an operator is ready to chat again, They simply click pause again to 'un pause' the chat session.
While a chat session is on hold, A message is inserted next to the session information on the main live chat console.
This notifies other operators of the status of this chat.
